Malai kofta recipe video
- Boiled Potato-600gm(5-6)
- Khoya-250gm/(take paneer instead)
- Cornflour-4tbsp
- Maida-1bowl(all purpose flour)
- Elaichi-
- Jeera-1/2tbsp
- Kali mirch
- Long
- Dalchini-2
- Tomato-3,4(Make the paste )
- Green chili-3
- Spices
- Dhania powder-1tbsp
- Salt-1tbsp
- Garam masala-1/2tbsp
- Red mirch powder-1/2tbsp
- Haldi Powder-1tbsp
- Kasturi methi
- Oil-1tbowl
- Coriander for garnishing
- (Onion-2+Garlic-10+Cashew-10)Make the paste of it for restaurant style gravy
- first and foremost we will prepare malai kofta balls, and add cornflour, all-purpose flour and add grated khoya otherwise add paneer.Add ½tbsp salt, ½tbsp red mirch powder and prepare dough out of it as you can see in images.
- Now make balls of this dough, after preparing balls now do the coating of all-purpose flour over balls this will help us while deep frying it, they won't scatter.
- Now our malai kofta balls are ready we will deep fry them, take pan pour oil and let it heat.Now one by one add these balls and fry them till they become golden brown.
- Now it time to prepare gravy of malai kofta, I have used the same pan which I used for frying balls.Add jeera and saute it, we need onion, garlic, ginger and cashew paste quantity is provided in ingredients, you prepare it before making gravy.Add this paste and saute it over the low gas for 3-4min.if you want to enhance the more taste add grated khoya or paneer.saute it and now add malai (cream) keep stirring and saute it.
- Add all spices red mirch, Dhani powder, Haldi powder, Garam masala and salt as per taste and saute it well this will make it taste good, look our malai kofta gravy looks great, at last, add tomato paste which we prepared earlier.the last Ingredient is optional Kasturi methi make powder of it and spread over gravy.
- now add ½litre water, it's your choice what type gravy you want.and let it boil, our gravy is ready to add our malai kofta balls, now add them and switch off the gas let them remain inside gravy for 8-9min.

Step6. Don’t burn jeera saute it a little bit.
Step7. we need onion, garlic, ginger and cashew paste quantity is provided in ingredients, you prepare it before making gravy, now adding this paste.
Step8.Add this paste and saute it over the low gas for 3-4min.if you want to enhance the more taste add grated khoya or paneer.saute it and now add malai (cream) keep stirring and saute it.
Step9.Now adding malai I prefer homemade cream bcoz it would be fresh and homemade too.
Step10 Add all spices red mirch, Dhani powder, Haldi powder, Garam masala and salt as per taste and saute it well this will make it taste good, look our malai kofta gravy looks great.
Step11. At last, add tomato paste which we prepared earlier.the last Ingredient is optional Kasturi methi make powder of it and spread over gravy.
Step12.now add ½litre water, it’s your choice what type gravy you want.
Step13.and let it boil, our gravy is ready to add our malai kofta balls, now add them and switch off the gas let them remain inside gravy for 8-9min.
